Is a man who travels 36 hours by bus to get a vasectomy because his dear wife cannot endure the side effects of birth control committing an ACT OF LOVE?
Meet George Mbogah, his wife, Ruth, and daughter Nedah, as we consider love in all its forms. Afterall, it is Valentine’s Day!
Here is their story in their words:
Back in 2013, I underwent a vasectomy in Busia, Kenya. The primary reason I embraced this procedure was to ease the health challenges my wife was experiencing due to the contraceptive pills she was taking. To receive the procedure, I had to travel approximately 500 kilometers to meet with the doctors who performed the vasectomy. [Doug Stein and co.]
This step has been crucial in supporting my wife’s well-being while also allowing us to manage our family planning.
