GLOBAL
With participating partners in 30+ countries, we work with doctors, family planning (FP) professionals, government ministries, communities and individuals to help redefine masculinity and promote men as agents of positive change.
Building Alliances
For WVD to be a sustainable and scalable movement, it requires alliances with key partners. While in the US, family planning services are offered predominantly through private practitioners, in most countries, it is primarily the public health care system that offers these services. This includes vasectomy. To that end, we continue to build alliances throughout the world.
To assure that our work is evidence, we continue to support and share the excellent work being done with researchers. These research projects are available in our resource library.
Together, with partners throughout the Americas and the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, and Europe, the WVD Project remains committed to increasing positive male engagement. We will continue to support existing vasectomy programs, and provide guidance and expertise to those launching new ones.
The Global Vasectomy Directory below provides information on the state of vasectomy services throughout the world. To keep the directory up to date, feel free to send us new information.
