On February 4 and 5, the FP2030 LAC Hub meeting took place in Panama, bringing together all the grantees funded in the first edition of the Knowledge Translation Call, led by FP2030 LAC Hub, Save the Children, PROFAMILIA, and Share Net Colombia.
The event aimed to host the Partnership Fund Fair, where the 11 organizations, including World Vasectomy Day, presented their knowledge translation products, shared their experiences, and engaged in meaningful exchanges, weaving networks across Latin America.
Each Project, a Story
It was an intense two-day working session in Panama, gathering around 30 participants from different countries and organizations. The event not only fostered knowledge exchange but also created an opportunity for grantees to connect, share their experiences, and dive deeper into their work.
Each project became a narrative of diverse voices—women, men, adolescents, communities, families, and the planet. More than just initiatives, they shared stories of life, and these stories are part of the 58,000+ people from 17 countries impacted by the FP2030 LAC Hub initiative in Latin America alone.
World Vasectomy Day had the wonderful opportunity to present the results of WVD Connect, a WhatsApp-based platform that provides information on vasectomy. More importantly, it became a unique space to amplify the voices of many men across Latin America—responsible men who want to take part in contraceptive decisions, become active agents of change, and contribute to gender equity.

FP2030 LAC Hub, along with Save the Children, PROFAMILIA, and Share Net Colombia, not only facilitated a space for knowledge management and dissemination but also promoted a safe communication environment, encouraged resilience, and inspired innovation to address the current global challenges in sexual and reproductive health.
